About

Dessintey is a French innovator specialising in intensive neuro-rehabilitation through visual feedback. Their breakthrough technology, the IVS (Intense Visual Stimulation), is an evolution of traditional mirror therapy. By using a high-definition screen to film the movement of a healthy limb and instantly project a "mirrored" version onto the site of a paralysed or injured limb, Dessintey "tricks" the patient's brain into believing the affected limb is moving. This visual illusion triggers the motor cortex and promotes the activation of dormant neural pathways. It is an exceptionally powerful tool for treating complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS), phantom limb pain, and post-stroke hemiplegia. Dessintey’s approach is rooted in the belief that rehabilitation should be early, intensive, and painless, using the power of sight to re-map the brain’s motor functions when physical movement is not yet possible.
