TMG-BMC is the creator of Tensiomyography, a unique, non-invasive method for measuring the contractile properties of individual muscles. Unlike EMG, which measures electrical activity, TMG uses a high-precision digital displacement sensor to measure how a muscle physically "bulges" in response to a small electrical stimulus. This provides objective data on muscle fiber type (slow vs. fast twitch), muscle fatigue, and functional symmetries. Because it is non-invasive and requires no effort from the patient, TMG is used by the world’s most elite sports teams (including Real Madrid and many NBA teams) to detect injury risks before they happen. If a player’s hamstring shows a change in contraction time, they can be pulled from training to prevent a tear. It is the ultimate tool for "pre-emptive" sports medicine and objective muscle profiling.
